This half-day (2.5 hour) interactive online session takes trustees through the basics of pension scheme investments. It will give trustees the knowledge and understanding needed to understand and challenge investment advice received by their scheme’s investment adviser.

The session will cover:

• Investment strategies
• Types of fund
• How to set an investment strategy.

There will also be some short videos to watch beforehand to give more background. These cover topics included in our full-day in-person investment training course.

This course is ideal for newly appointed trustees, but can also act as a useful refresher for existing trustees who wish to update and develop their knowledge.

Everyone who registers for the course should be willing to participate in the interactive elements, including Q&A and an investment strategy game.
